Terms of Service

1. About the service

TCGTrade ("we", "us") is a platform that connects buyers and sellers of trading cards, primarily Pokémon cards, in Iceland. We do not own, sell, or ship any cards ourselves — we provide the place where users list items, communicate, and make offers to each other.

Pricing information shown on the site (e.g. estimated market value) is for reference only, drawn from public data sources. It is not a guarantee of actual sale price.

2. Your account

You need an account to post listings, send messages, or track a collection. You must be 18 or older, or have a guardian's consent, to create an account.

You're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password secure. Let us know if you believe someone else has unauthorized access to your account.

3. Listings and transactions

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings — description, condition, photos, and any grading claims.

Buyers and sellers arrange payment, delivery, and shipping costs directly between themselves. TCGTrade is not a party to these transactions, does not process payments, and is not responsible for the quality, authenticity, or delivery of items exchanged between users.

We recommend using a secure payment method and confirming an item's condition before completing a trade, especially with someone you don't know.

4. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the service to sell counterfeit or stolen goods, infringe intellectual property, harass other users, send spam, or attempt to bypass the site's security measures.

We reserve the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or restrict access to the service for violations of these rules.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of photos, descriptions, and other content you post on TCGTrade. By posting content, you grant us a license to display it on the site in connection with the service.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, inaccurate listing information, or temporary unavailability of the service.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on the site.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland.
